The current analysis shows a three bedroom central apartment with good location and all the amenities rented out for an average 100 Euro per night. It is clear that the summer month are responsible for the peak occupation. However the winter months can cover up the utilities in the worst cases.
Investors B. Kovacs and L. Katona bought an apartment in 2012 in Budapest’s theater and bar district for 16.4 million forint ($60,292).
“Tourists from western Europe come here and they have a laughing fit because they can rent an apartment for so little,” said Kovacs. “We’re also smiling, looking at the profit.”
